Philadelphia – Independence Hall – Declaration of Independence! Where our Forefathers put their lives in jeopardy so that we could become a fledgling new nation! I know you all know that I am a bit of a fanatic Constitutionally! Yes! Really! But coming and seeing where this birth of a nation took place is life changing. I think it would be wonderful if coming here was a requirement for citizenship (and for Congress!) oops, did I go there? We took the walking tour and visited everything above and also Ben Franklins museum and post office. We just happened to be here on September 17th, the birthday of the Constitution (227th to be exact). Loved that everyone touring keep saying Happy Constitution Day! Lovely to meet so many patriotic tourists.
