Hanging out in the Blue Ridge Mountains is spectacular! We drove only 100 miles of it, but hope to be back to drive some more of it. We went to the Natural Bridge near the Parkway and visited an old Civil War Train track. We finished our trek with a stop in Roanoke at the Salvage Dawgs store. We love their show and the shop is awesome.

Philadelphia Pennsylvania
Philadelphia – Independence Hall – Declaration of Independence! Where our Forefathers put their lives in jeopardy so that we could become a fledgling new nation! I know you all know that I am a bit of a fanatic Constitutionally! Yes! Really! But coming and seeing where this birth of a nation took place is life changing. I think it would be wonderful if coming here was a requirement for citizenship (and for Congress!) oops, did I go there? We took […]

New York, New York – The Big Apple!
Finally here! We were going to stay across the river in Liberty Park – but remembered at the last minute that it was September 11th! and the City goes into lockdown for security reasons! So at the last minute, we decided to stay an hour outside of New York City on the Hudson River. We stayed at Croton State Park RV Park. Right on the river and quite beautiful. Maine for the Summer!
Summer in Maine! Looking so forward to catching as many Lighthouses as we can and getting myself some Maine Lobster. Three months is not a lot of time to see all that Maine has to offer. We stayed near Newport Maine for a month and spent time going north and west in search of moose. In the three months we spent in Maine we did not see one moose. Lots of signs for them! Disappointing. But we saw so many […]
